Euvichol®-Plus

Euvichol®-Plus is the world's first oral cholera vaccine developed in a plastic tube formulation. Compared to the Euvichol®, it offers easier storage and transport, and the vaccine can be taken simply by shaking the tube and consuming it directly. Thanks to these advantages and its affordable supply price, Euvichol®-Plus is exclusively supplied to the global public vaccine market. Euvichol-Plus was also received WHO Prequalification in August 2017.

Appearance A colorless, clear glass vial containing a yellow or slightly yellowish cloudy solution containing inactivated cholera bacteria.
Efficacy / Effectiveness Prevention of cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae serogroup O1 in children, adolescents, and adults over 1 year of age. (However, efficacy against Vibrio cholerae serogroup O139 has not been confirmed.)
