EcML+Alum

Alum is a adjuvant that has been widely used for a long time in vaccine development. It has a depot effect thereby slowly releasing antigen and continuously stimulating an antibody response. Since it mainly induces an antibody immune response by provoking a strong Th.2 response, it shows ineffective against intracellular viral pathogens. To improve the effectiveness of the adjuvant, EuBiologics developed a combined adjuvant that can induce a high antibody-specific immune response and a Th1-type cellular immune response by adhering EcML to Alum.
